@geoffkeighley Magical journey especially with IMAX's sound system , large screen, Ludwig's amazing ost, and amazing cinematrography. few criticisms: Casting could use some work, film editing felt like trailer at times, and please Nolan why are your dialogues still sound muffled

The film can feel like it's edited like a trailer at times, it's indeed difficult to cram the epic poem into less than 3 hours. And Nolan still has old habit of muffled dialogues. Other than that, I had a great experience! (3/3) btw , they have sick 1.43:1 ratio poster

Back then you can tell IMAX scenes are shot differently with steadier movements and lip async due to dialog dub. With the new camera they invented, the whole movie feels like it's shot normally, just with IMAX 70mm film. Milestone witnessed, keep innovating, @IMAX (2/3)

By the gods, yesterday was a journey! Saw The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm and it felt like I sailed together with Odysseus, especially with many amazing shots and Ludwig's banger score. Remembering the film after a night of sleep feels like recalling a dream. #TheOdyssey (1/3)

July 14th afternoon, at The Odyssey NYC Premiere at AMC Lincoln Square. Got to see the amazing cast and crew in person, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Christopher Nolan. First movie to be shot entirely in IMAX 70mm, will be seeing it later today!

an incident happened today at an imax screening of the odyssey in hong kong: there was a fire alarm mid-screening and everyone had to be evacuated 😭 the funniest bit was antinous saying "somebody get these beggars out!" and right after that the viewers had to leave 🫠
