We need honest discussions and honest disagreements. Muslims do not recognize Jesus Christ. Anyone who says so does not understand Christianity. At the heart of it is ‘Jesus as Lord and Savior’. Anyone who believes in Jesus, the good Jew, the fighter of justice and the man of peace, believes in something else. The Jesus of the scripture is God, He is Lord and savior. As C.S. Lewis put it. Jesus is either what He claims or he is a scoundrel. Make up your mind. Stop this nonsensical ‘Muslims recognize Jesus’. They do not and ought not if they are truly Muslims. I recommend the book ‘Mere Christianity’ by C.S Lewis for those who want to understand the fundamentals of Christianity.
