2020 had Covid and couldn’t walk for 7 minutes for a year. 2024 I complete my first half marathon in 2:27 minutes. With all the niggles I had I thought I wouldn’t make it to the start line. Unbelievable what the body can do! I felt strong 💪🏼 and I absolutely loved it!!

@wil1er My watch can take some minutes to show accurate hr. It might show zone 3 then zone 1. I have a coros. I’m not sure if the sensor needs cleaning or it’s the temperature outside.

I cannot figure out zone 2 runs. I ran as slow as I could, even walked a little, and Garmin says zone 3. Is my Garmin off? Or maybe I’m just really out of shape?

Why do people go out to eat? You let some disgusting person you don't know making minimum wage handle your food. You have no idea what they did to it. If they washed their hands after scratching their private parts. You can make the same things at home way cheaper. It's even more disgusting if you add in a delivery service where some stranger is alone with your food. No thanks.

If you are new to running. Please know that running requires a ton of patience. Don't think in terms of days and weeks to reach your goal, think months and years in many cases. You are making the choice to start and that is whats important. Stick with it, it will get easier. 👊

I dont get it. If I run 50 miles a week or 100 miles a week, I sleep like crap. How is this even possible? Somebody please find me a magic solution. I just want at least 7 hours of sleep a night. 🥲
