Tonight's 'Creative Futures' event was a success! It was great to recognise the many creative talents we have @LarbertHigh including the book trailers and short horror films our Film Making WAO have been involved in, listen to some beautiful poetry, learn more about the narrative power of videogames and much more! With the highly appreciated effort of our staff, pupils and families, we have managed to collect 284 books for @lonbookproject via @CommunityStenh1. We are incredibly proud and thankful to everyone who donated a book, which will now be delivered to children who need them. 👏📚🎁 @LarbertHigh @LHS_English @LHS_PC @MrsWaterfall_

Our February edition of our monthly newsletter is finally here after a slight delay! We are looking forward to seeing our staff and pupils dressed up this Thursday for World Book Day. Don't forget to pop by the library to take part in a variety of activities!

Today our Reading Ambassadors spread excitement among staff about World Book Day by providing an opportunity to explore some of the new YA books available in our school library, participate in a book swap and a bookish quiz. 📚✨️ @LHS_English @LarbertHigh

Our next parent book group is 29 January at 7.15pm on Google Meet. We will be discussing Orbital by Samantha Harvey which recently won the Booker Prize and is only 144 pages!
