The Largo RIT (Rapid Intervention Crew) Team recently held their first practice in preparation for competition next year at Fire Rescue East on Jan 18th-20th in Daytona Beach.

Largo Fire Rescue partnered with @LargoPD and @Walmart for their annual Shop with a Cop/Firefighter Event. This year more than two dozen kids and their families were able to shop for toys and necessities for the holidays.🎄

On Nov 10th, Tropical Storm Nicole made its way through FL. From the road, Largo Firefighters noticed an 88 yr old resident's awning had blown off, causing damage. Crews immediately turned around to check on the resident (uninjured) and worked together to repair her home.

Congratulations to The Largo Extrication Team who recently competed in the @NavraOfficial Florida Rescue Challenge in Miami. The team won 3rd place in the Limited Extrication Scenario and ranked 4th place overall out of 12 teams!

The Largo Extrication Team (LXT) is ready to compete in Miami-Dade on Nov 18-20th for the three-day extrication competition hosted by the North American Vehicle Rescue Association (NAVRA). @navraofficial
