Big Twelve XII - Team Reveal 📋 This is the twelfth time the Big Twelve will go around, and to avoid any confusion I thought I’d tell the origin story of the team name. The “Big Twelve” came from a saying which originated in a Western NSW community many a year ago. Whilst out and about in this community, I once overheard some lovely young ladies discussing a local man, and remarking that they’d heard he’s got the “big twelve”. Upon further investigation, I learned that this was a nod to a rough anatomical measurement - the number of inches this group of women generally used to describe a man’s schlong when it’s on the larger end of the scale. Doesn’t have to be exactly 12”. Just has to be big, and they’ll credit you with a big twelve. Naturally, as a young fella, I had to name my SuperCoach team after it. I thought it was funny and it made me feel cultured. It definitely is not any kind of a reference to my personal situation. Anyway twelve years on from this fateful day - the Big Twelve have managed, among many failures, one Top 3 overall finish… with plenty of other disappointments along the way. Certainly none that compare to the regret of that final captain choice. There has been a sprinkling of Top 100 finishes in this period but they just really feel insignificant once you’ve been so close to getting a whiff of Sangster. Anyway, enough shit talking, here’s the team for Round 1 - barring any late brain snaps or team list chaos. I’ll be posting my side weekly, tracking rank and trades as the season unfolds. The pivot’s on. I’ve been saying for weeks that I expect the Titans to improve this year, so I’m backing that belief & adding two more Titans into the Big Twelve XII. We all know what the stats say so I’m not going into that. Couchman⏩Tino 😢 Wish I could keep Couchman & if I can find a way to get him back in I will. No knock on him whatsoever. But Tino - If he’s healthy, and he looks it, he’s one of the first forwards picked in SuperCoach. He doesn’t need huge minutes, give him 60+ & you get an elite mix of work rate, damaging runs, offloads & attacking upside. If the Titans take a step forward, it starts with their leader. Hynes⏩Campbell It’s like a habit - you see the Titans first up on the calendar & your brain automatically wants to target that fixture. If I’m being true to my belief that Titans improve then Nicho’s early schedule doesn’t look quite as good. So we’re pivoting at 10:30pm on the eve of Round one. Campbell goal kicking & leading a side I expect to score more points this year, looks stronger physically & when he’s confident he’s involved in everything. Big scores come when the match-ups are right & early combo with Brimson looks promising. I’m keen. Making the 8 is a big call in today’s NRL environment, but I’ll give the Titans an outside chance if they can stay healthy. #NRLSuperCoach #NRLSharksTitans

@BrainTalksBall It's ridiculous and I note 3 of top 4 overall ranked own him (or did before trades) so it's literally going to have massive repercussions to teams. It makes no sense. Maddison retired himself and his score stays. Players injure themselves like Jordan and his score stays. Inept

Can anyone explain why Daniel Sams gets a DNP in #SupercoachBBL considering he scored runs? I understand he got subbed out due to concussion but his runs should still count just like any washout would count after one ball bowled?
