🔱 Tino | 2RF/FRF | $636,100 He’s back. Tino Fa’asuamaleaui is currently being traded in by just 1/50th of the top 5% of SuperCoaches. Incredibly low for a player who looked as good as he did on the weekend and with his pedigree. Passed the eye test comfortably on Sunday, producing a line break, a try assist and a neat ton, built on an outstanding 80 points in base and power across 62 minutes. More importantly, he finally looks to have moved past the knee issues that disrupted the early part of his season. Outside of reduced minutes backing up from Origin against Melbourne, he’s scored below 76 just once (58) since Rd 6 and has quietly re-established himself as one of the best base and power players in the game. Yet to score a try this season and has managed just three major attacking stats. That’s not Tino-esque. When he becomes a volume ball-runner and starts finding his offload, good things tend to happen around him. He naturally beats tackles and is always a focal point through the middle. The draw only adds to the appeal. The Titans play five of their final seven games at home, with five day games, an evening game at home vs Dolphins and a night game in Townsville. Plenty of matchups where Tino should be able to impose himself through the middle. Titans may be out of finals contention, but there are signs of life. They’ve beaten Penrith and Manly recently, pushed Melbourne in Melbourne and still have plenty of incentive to finish strongly and build toward 2027. At $636k, the value is pretty obvious. He reached $760k last season and eclipsed $800k his previous season. The pedigree is there and his dual 2RF/FRF status could also be useful for Twal/May owners looking for cover in RD23. With injuries to players like Tallis Duncan and Hudson Young, and Tapine/Mooney/Paseka upgrade options, Tino looks like a genuine POD keeper to me. At just 5% ownership among the top 5%, now looks like the time to jump on and make up some ground. #NRLSuperCoach #SuperCoachNRL #SuperCoachCounsel

@TedMan12p 😅 Yeah we’ll see I guess. Walsh goes missing when there’s nothing to play for. Same thing happened with Staggs last year, he was trash until they needed him and then he was outstanding. You don’t give Cows a chance of beating them?

Reece Walsh’s historic 2025 #NRLSuperCoach run included: • Goal-kicking ❌ • No Reynolds handbrake ❌ • Firing outside backs ❌ • A good team ❌ • A chance of making the finals ❌ • A favourable schedule ✅ Can he overcome all of those ❌’s ?

@TedMan12p I said Broncos played better than they have been but Yes Penrith were bad. Very bad by their standards. One loss and they’re 5000:1 to make the 8. Guess they could play touch footy but my read on their stars is that they’ll throw in the towel.

@NRLSCC well its not 1 loss season over 2 would do it if it is season over then maybe they play touch footy. as long as reynolds can stay out for the way first time they had all their troops together in ages. were penrith bad last week? not giving any credit to Brisbanes intensity?

@TedMan12p Doesn’t take a genius or 5 months to come up with that surely. Broncos played better than they have been last week but think a lot of that win came down to how poor Penrith played. I’m not convinced they’ve turned a corner. One loss, season over. What happens then?

@NRLSCC You've convinced me on Teddy. The 4 games at home to finish the season, the recent rest and history of finishing strong put him in front.

@JimBronco42 Yeah don’t mind Katoa with their run home but seems a bit injury prone these days. I think I’d go with To’o out of the ones you’ve mentioned. The only negative this week is no Edwards who feeds that side well. Still expect him to do well vs Eels.

@NRLSCC True. I was all set to get Sasagi for Makasini, but going cold on him. Average has dropped (upside takes a hit with Strange on left). Now weighing up other options. Sione Katoa another I'm considering.

@Ryder10874181 Turbo can go whenever I think, but I’d be waiting to see what happens with the Cowboys’ tee first. So few trades with a long way to go, I’d probably be making them only when absolutely necessary. While ever you have a strong 18 I’d say hold.

Jenkins at Fullback? 👀 Give me that any day of the week. VC option this week, Yes please. The role is just too juicy- extra involvement, more attacking opportunities and genuine upside if he gets into space. Not the flashiest pick, but sometimes the boring plays are the ones that win you matchups. 🔥 #NRLSupercoach

The thing I forgot to mention about Faalogo - Souths are without a lot of their influential players this week. I think he could have a big game, so I’d happily hold for one more.

📉 MOST TRADED OUT 🦅 Tom Trbojevic | FLB Trbojevic looks an easy sell. There is still uncertainty around the injury and while reports suggest he could return within a few weeks, I don’t think there is enough to gain by holding him through that period. Given his injury history, there is also no guarantee he returns and stays on the field. James Tedesco is sitting there at a huge discount and looks like the obvious replacement. Verdict: Easy sell. 🟢 Hudson Young | 2RF His season is over. Verdict: Sell. 🐇 Tallis Duncan | 2RF Duncan is expected to miss 2-3 weeks with a hamstring strain. For coaches with plenty of trades, I think he is a worthwhile move to another premium 2RF or CTW rather than carrying the dead weight. For those running low on trades, particularly with strong coverage, there is also merit in holding and waiting for his return. Verdict: Genuine 50-50 call. Trade if you have the luxury; hold if trades are tight. 🐬 Jack Bostock | CTW I would not be selling Bostock. I rate the Dolphins’ run home highly, they still have plenty to play for, and he should return fresh after the bye. I would be more than comfortable stacking Dolphins CTWs through the closing rounds rather than cashing one out now. Verdict: Strong hold. ⚡️ Sua Fa’alogo | FLB Fa’alogo is the most interesting decision on the list. I sold him last week because I felt his price had peaked and the bubble was ready to burst. Without Jahrome Hughes, and particularly without Cameron Munster, the lack of an effective left-side sweep hurts his upside significantly. One of the biggest lessons from this season has been knowing when to cash out and banking value. Greg Marzhew was the obvious example. I still think Fa’alogo can average around 60 over the run home, so coaches with limited trades can justify holding. But in a high-upside position, where you can bank around $200k and move to another premium fullback, I think selling is the better play, particularly at such a high price. Verdict: Sell if you can use the money to upgrade elsewhere; otherwise a reasonable hold.
