This VDM needs to face the weight of the law for being the conveyor and disseminator of a fake audio of President Tinubu. This is a clear case of an egregious abuse of the social media platform.
Aneex 🌍@pious_minister

How do you really convince someone who has already decided and believes in their mind that this is actually Asiwaju’s voice? What kind of cheap propaganda is this? VDM knows that Ibos are highly emotional people, and that’s why he enjoys riding on their emotions.

TINUBUNOMICS: NIGERIA TO SAVE $850m ANNUALLY ON CLOUD SERVICES AS 100MW AI DATA CENTER DEBUTS IN LEKKI. LAGOS. "Digital Infrastructure company, Kasi Cloud, has unveiled the first phase of its 100MW capacity data centre in a landmark move expected to retain in-country an estimated $850 million Nigeria spends annually on foreign cloud services. The facility situated in Lekki was flagged off on Tuesday by government officials led by the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the Minister of Finance, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele. Described as the first AI-ready data centre in West Africa, the Kasi Lekki campus, developed on about four hectares in Maiyegun, Lekki, sits in proximity to six subsea cable landing systems, including Equiano and 2Africa, a location the company says gives it a strategic advantage for low-latency connectivity and regional cloud distribution."

Happy Eid-el-Kabir to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Lagos and across Nigeria. As we celebrate today, it is important to remember the values of faith, sacrifice, patience and compassion that define this season. The story of Prophet Ibrahim reminds us that even in difficult times, holding firmly to our faith and caring for one another brings lasting rewards. I encourage all Lagosians to continue living in peace and to remain committed to the unity and progress of our country. Building a better Nigeria is a shared responsibility. Eid Mubarak.

How do you leave Edo State, your state of origin, where you could only secure just 4 embarrass votes in your own polling unit during the last governorship election, a clear sign of political irrelevance, and then move to Abuja to contest for Senate seats meant to represent indigenous people? What an insult. Whoever NDC not to give her the ticket truly did them a huge favour.

@LarindeJide @Denisontsekohol For how long are we going to have this mindset? Why can't we have stable systems that work and people do their businesses without any hassles? Outsourcing your stress won't solve any problems rather we need a working system and the rule of law in this nation else we won't progres

This was my 30-ton-per-day rice processing factory building. When we started the construction in 2020, a bag of cement was around ₦3k, and within months, it moved to ₦5,500. And we bought a full truckload [2 trucks in total] for the building project. We completed the factory, built a 10k-capacity poultry pen, a 10k-capacity fish pen, and 6 rooms of staff quarters and office. By the time we were done, our rice processing machine was trapped in China due to the COVID-19 lockdown. When it finally arrived in Nigeria? I chose the wrong port [Onne Port in Rivers State], and the machine was seized by customs officers. According to them, they were suspecting the container to have loaded firearms [funny set of people]. So, they broke the container, opened the boxes, and saw only my rice processing machine. It was closed back. It was time to release the container, right? Story that if I share with you, you’ll cry blood. I cried and paid unnecessary bills in that port before they finally released the machine. When it finally arrived in Makurdi that particular night, the drivers were insisting we offload at midnight🙈 I told them it was not possible. All my staff were sleeping by now, and we could not get them to come there. So, they slept. The next morning. It was time to offload the container, right? As the truck was driving to an Industrial Layout in Makurdi where we were to offload, ALL the jobless youths in Makurdi followed behind on bikes. When they arrived, they demanded we pay ₦250k before offloading anything on Benue soil. Bro, I am a Benue boy ooooh. A younger boy [I was less than 30 then] building a business in this country. Guess what? We had no choice but to pay those boys cash. Though we negotiated, begged, and paid less than ₦200k. Then, we offloaded the machines. I was extremely happy😍😍😍 The event that followed? I will share later. Difficulties continued. Here is the lesson I want you to get today. “As an entrepreneur in Nigeria, many times, you’ll spend more money and time fighting external battles than internal ones that you know well” ✍🏻 Unstable prices of inputs ✍🏻 Settling useless street boys ✍🏻 Battling extortion from government regulatory bodies ✍🏻 And more. You can know your business A-Z and still fail due to external battles you were not prepared for. It is like that for every entrepreneur in Nigeria, including Alhaji Aliko Dangote. You watched his external battles recently with regulatory bodies. You see this Agriculture? I know it very well. Is not pride. I was born as a farmer. But I am learning to beat those external demons programmed into the systems in this country. And I MUST win them. You have to learn how to win them too my brother. Good luck. Stay connected. I will tell you what happened after the installation of the 30-ton-per-day rice processing machine in my factory that year. See you soon. #BillionaireFarmer

Egypt’s total debt is estimated at over $400 billion, with a GDP around $390 billion — debt-to-GDP above 100%. South Africa’s debt is about $580 billion, with GDP around $420 billion — roughly 135% debt-to-GDP. Nigeria’s total public debt is about $110 billion, with a GDP around $340 billion — roughly 35% debt-to-GDP. Yet some people keep shouting that Nigeria is the “loan capital of the world.” To them: Loans are Haram. Education is Haram. Road construction is Haram. Power projects are Haram. Internet expansion is Haram. Railway modernization is Haram. Airport upgrades are Haram. Seaport reforms are Haram. Dams and agro-processing projects are Haram. Solar energy expansion is Haram. But the same people praise countries that borrowed far more aggressively to build infrastructure and grow their economies. The difference between productive borrowing and reckless borrowing is simple: what the money is used for. If loans are used to build roads, expand electricity, improve transport, increase internet access, modernize ports, support agriculture, and attract investment, those are long-term national assets. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says the focus is on infrastructure that can improve productivity and economic growth across Nigeria. Criticism is normal in democracy, but opposing every single project simply because of politics helps nobody. Development is not the enemy. Underdevelopment is. Some people are no longer in any coven. They are simply online 24/7 wailing against everything.

I lived and ran a very successful business in the United Kingdom. Back then, I went to a bank to obtain a huge loan, and they gave me the money based on my INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL, and I later paid it back. In my own country, Nigeria, I wouldn’t get such an amount of loan — they would have asked me to go and bring my late parents’ property.” Mr. Peter Obi effortlessly lying to his IPOB!DIOT mobs in South Africa and they were clapping

A Nasarawa State social media activist known as Oscar visited Governor A.A. Sule and knelt before him in tears, pleading for forgiveness. While the meeting was ongoing, former Governor and ex-APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu, who was present in the Governor’s office, strongly opposed forgiving the activist, citing his repeated insults against the Governor and members of the state cabinet.

INNALILLAHI WA’INA ILAIHIRRAJIUN 💔💔 I came home happy & sat chatting with my mother. She told me the meat from last Sallah was not enough for her to share with people. I smiled & told her nt to worry, tht this year I would slaughter a cow for us. She happily replied, “May Allah make it possible.” We laughed and joked together, and before leaving for work, I went to the cattle market searching for cows. After bargaining with a seller, I wanted to make a transfer, but they said they only accepted cash, so I went to withdraw the money. Filled with joy, I called her & said, “Mother, our Sallah cows are ready. This year you will share meat until you get tired.” She quietly replied, “I may not even be alive to eat from it.” I answered, “No, you will eat and enjoy it.” But Subhanallah 😢💔… little did I know my mother would not even witness this Sallah. Today the cows are here, but she is gone. May Allah forgive her, brighten her grave, & reward her for every good intention you had. We humbly ask our Muslim brothers and sisters to remember her in your sincere prayers.

Just In: The terrorist herdsmen came expecting an easy operation in some village in Ondo state, only to discover that the village had already subscribed to “spiritual homeland security.” JUJU. 🧙‍♀️ Instead of kidnapping the villagers, the kidnappers reportedly ended up in sleeping nap competition until they were surrounded by the community security watch. The Nigeria Police Force is aware of the viral video involving ASP Newton Isokpehi. Our response has been swift, decisive, and clear. The officer has been identified, and disciplinary procedures have commenced at the Anambra State Command. IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has taken further action. Alongside disciplinary proceedings, he has ordered a mental evaluation, medical assessment, and drug testing for ASP Isokpehi to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation. Accountability in this case involves both appropriate consequences and institutional understanding. We affirm that all Nigerians and officers have the right to lawfully record police officers performing their duties. This right is real, protected, and will be upheld by the Force. However, this right carries responsibilities. Recordings that obstruct operations, compromise officer safety, or endanger the public are not protected. There is a clear distinction between lawful accountability and interference with police duties. WHEN LAWFUL BOUNDARIES ARE RESPECTED BY ALL PARTIES, accountability and public safety can coexist effectively. ASP Isokpehi’s actions and comments were inappropriate, threatening, and unprofessional. He is therefore subject to disciplinary measures. The outcome of this disciplinary process will be made public. We are committed to ensuring transparency.

NPF CONDEMNS THREATENING CONDUCT BY POLICE OFFICER IN VIRAL VIDEO, ORDERS IMMEDIATE DISCIPLINARY ACTION The Nigeria Police Force has taken cognisance of a viral video circulating on social media involving ASP Newton Isokpehi, in which the officer was seen making threatening remarks against members of the public filming police activities. The Force wishes to state unequivocally that the conduct and utterances exhibited in the video are unacceptable, unprofessional, and inconsistent with the ethics, standards, and code of conduct of the Nigeria Police Force. Such actions run contrary to the ongoing reform initiatives of the Force aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, professionalism, and citizen-focused policing. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has consistently maintained that members of the public have the right to lawfully record police officers carrying out their duties, provided such recording does not obstruct operations, compromise safety, or interfere with lawful police activities. In line with this position, the officer involved has since been identified and summoned to the Anambra State Command Headquarters where immediate disciplinary procedures have commenced. The Nigeria Police Force does not tolerate threats, intimidation, abuse of office, or any conduct capable of undermining public trust and confidence in law enforcement institutions. The Force further reiterates that recording police activities remains a legitimate tool for public accountability and transparency and should not, in itself, attract harassment or intimidation from police personnel while discharging their duties. A formal statement detailing the outcome of the disciplinary measures taken against the officer will be communicated in due course. The Nigeria Police Force appreciates members of the public for their continued partnership and constructive engagement in promoting accountability, professionalism, and improved policing standards across the country.
