The Warriors know they are not close to being title contenders. They’re locked into the play-in, no need to risk Steph aggravating his knee by bringing him back now. Even if they advanced to playoffs, you’re looking at facing OKC or the Spurs and likely a quick exit

My take: The NFL’s effort to monetize it destroyed it. When it was in Hawaii, it was a convention for star players, away from the normal media attention of the season. Peyton Manning used to hold court at the pool and counsel guys. That draw is now gone. So now it’s a big zero.
