@PramilaJayapal Got a better idea. Repeal ACA. Limit Medicaid to poor & disabled citizens and legal perm residents, administered and fully funded by states. Medicare should be scrapped completely, over the next 75 years, allowing people currently on it or about to go on it full benefit

Insurance companies made $54 billion in profit last year. They did it by: ✖️Denying claims ✖️Delaying care ✖️Designing plans people can't actually use Medicare for All.

@WhimsicalConser @GigaBeers Let's assume the part about exploitation is true. Still better than chopping him to bits in the womb and sucking him down a tbe.

@GigaBeers The logic on this one seemed to be "why abort when you can exploit." Absolutely heartbreaking

Guess who this little boy is… 👀 His mom was just 17, scared, and under heavy pressure to abort him. She said no. Fast forward 31 years…and her son is a global icon who took over the world. “One Time” was just the beginning…🔥 Who is he? Drop your guess below 👇

@SenatorSlotkin The irony here is that Democrats perfected the art of gerrymandering. The voting rights act was designed to give black people a voice that Democrats wanted to exclude. At least until they could rely on black voters as a reliable voting base.

I have a real problem with political gerrymandering. Last week, the Supreme Court ruled to limit parts of the Voting Rights Act. Ultimately, this will make it easier for states to dilute the votes of Black voters and other minority groups. We need to outlaw gerrymandering. Period.

BREAKING: Ron DeSantis has just confirmed that he has signed the new Congressional Districting map in Florida into law. It’s expected Republicans will pick up 4 seats in the U.S. House with these changes. Republicans can’t win traditionally so they need to keep changing the maps.

Visiting my son on his break today… (He’s 17 and works approximately 30 hours a week making $18. an hour.) I just realized he makes more money, And pays more in taxes than his MAGA uncle does. His MAGA uncle works a seasonal job, Laid off 5 months out of the year collecting unemployment while receiving other benefits from the state like Medicaid and housing assistance. He’s also 52 years old. My son, a 17 year old liberal… Makes more money, pays more in taxes, and is less of a burden on society than a 52 year old MAGA male. Make this shit make sense.

@CrookedHalo @MatrixMysteries I'm game. I have an office job, and I don't get a per diem. Why should our "public servants"? Won't amount to much, but I'm all for getting rid of the per diems for members of Congress. I bet their staff get them as well. Cut it all. Still support reigning in welfare.

@MatrixMysteries Can all the angry people in the comments now go after the members of Congress that gets $79 per day of tax funded money to buy sugary drinks and food that's classified as "ordinary and necessary" meal expenses? In comparison, people on Snap get $6.20 per day, per person.

“What am I supposed to buy now—just basics? None of the snacks go through on EBT.” “I’m at checkout and it keeps declining—now I gotta use my OWN hard earned money for food." The level of fraud and waste that went unnoticed for years is staggering.

@PMizunoMP64 @BskiMike22802 @Fehertwit Paul, it occurs to me that you sound very much like DJT. I could put your words to his voice, and I don't think anybody could tell the it apart from something he would say. "When I show people this, they say 'don't talk to whackos . . .' " Do your best DJT impression and say it.

@BskiMike22802 @Fehertwit There's nothing to argue. Everything you spew is incoherent garbage. When I show people this, they say " don't talk to the whackos on social media". The fact you scream "MAGA" when that administration will be the worst to ever exist, speaks volumes about your morals and values.

@BrandonStraka @CPAC Levin and Tucker appeared to be of one mind. And they were, about this. But their divisions never disappeared. They were just put on the back burner for a while. Now, with all of that in the rear view, and foreign policy taking center stage, the differences are raging on again.

MAGA has become tribal, hive-minded, at war with itself. I said it plainly at @CPAC- and people felt it. I laid it all out—about Tucker, Mark Levin, Marjorie Taylor Greene—and how insane the mob mentality on the right has become. People are tired of being lied to at political conferences. Tired of the spin. Tired of being told everything is “great” when it’s not. They want honesty. They’re hungry for truth. And if we can’t confront our differences openly—without personal attacks and character assassinations—we won’t survive this moment. Watch my full remarks from CPAC. This was one of the most important speeches I’ve given in years.

There is absolutely nobody in American criminal law enforcement who could claim ignorance as to what “86” could be interpreted as after the Gretchen Whitmer “86-45” scandal. Nobody @Comey

@BrandonStraka @ryanpcrypto @thevivafrei @Comey I think there are better things to focus our attention on. But I think I can also understand some of the outrage. Three attempts on his life isn't nothing. But "8647" is not prosecutable, and we have better things to focus on.

@BrandonStraka @ryanpcrypto @thevivafrei @Comey I tend to agree with you on this, Brandon. I don't believe Comey when he initially claimed he just came across the shells and took a picture. But I know he's smart enough to know that "86" doesn't necessarily mean kill. Even if he meant that, he can hide behind ambiguity.

@RugPullatypus @RoKhanna No. It wouldn't be productive at all. I work with government bureaucrats who administer welfare and entitlement benefits on a daily basis. Trust me, you do not want any of them making decisions on your behalf. Some of them are wonderful people. But still, no.

@LarryDeBare @RoKhanna I think it would be much more productive. It would also incentivize employers by them listing what tier their open positions are. I think there is a LOT of central planning that needs to take place between the jobs platform AND education system in our country.

I co-introduced historic legislation to increase the minimum wage to $25. As someone who taught economics at Stanford, here is why it makes sense. The real minimum wage was $14 in 1968. Today it is half, but productivity has increased 2.5x. Instead of extractive capitalism, we need a free enterprise system that pays workers what they are worth.
