You have to buy what others won't so you can have gains that others can't. That combined with patience is where outperformance and true alpha lies. Recent examples -> Everyone giving up on $UNH $OSCR $HUM $CNC at the lows only for them to move 50-200%. It did not happen in a straight line and many even touted the risk/reward being off, citing that there wasn't enough upside. Well when confidence in the market comes back along with execution and stability across the entire sector, recoveries can be aggressive. Congrats bulls!

LA City Council just told LAPD they can't pull anyone over anymore for expired tags, dead tail lights, cracked windshields, busted mirrors, illegal tint, loud exhaust, or missing plates. Why? Because out of 72,000 stops in three years, 86% were Black or Latino drivers. So if your car is busted, you're now invisible to the LAPD. Congratulations. This rule is intended to reduce discriminatory policing and build community trust.

This is so clownish it is hard to believe people, let alone purported law professors, are still repeating it in 2026.
