@theblockspot As a top 5 Kenpom team? I would put them on level with 2006 Florida and 2023 UConn, two other 3-seeds that found their mojo in the tourney. Both teams also had non-traditional paths with "easier" stops along the way.

One of the great stories in college hoops & a really well-done article that is worth your time. A 3-star who some said might redshirt may be an All-American and will definitely be a one-and-done #NBA lottery pick come June. And nearly every program whiffed on his recruitment.
