So my coworker has never seen The Simpsons before. Decided to essentially show her a Greatest Hits package and so far we've done 22 Short Films About Springfield, You Only Move Twice, and Homer's Phobia. What are some other must-sees?

Been thinking about this scene from the recent Simpsons episode. Really poignant message about recognizing the people in our lives who just want some human connection before it becomes too late. Even just remembering a birthday can mean a thousand times more for a person.

How the Simpsons got me feeling for a character who’s had like three lines across the entire series? Nevermind the crocodile thing, this was the saddest character death for me this week 😭

This was really good. Larry's a character who has been in the show since episode 1, but he's never talked to anyone and no one has ever talked to him. He's just sat there looking sad for 35 years. & the episode explores just how tragic that really is (but humorously!) THREAD 1/6

@ardokranch Anakin is so in love with Padme that he subconsciously uses the force to make her love him back (even though she has a strong mind his force powers are so great that he can bend her will)—it explains why their romance is so unconvincing and why she dies of a broken heart.

@SimpsonsTheory We talked about a throw-away joke to explain where Sam was, but we already did that with Barney. Sam couldn't go on the road trip, in that introducing essentially a new (old) character would have meant doing a different story.

Really enjoyed last night's Simpsons episode. But I couldn't stop wondering why there was no mention of Larry's best friend, Sam.
