They said thousands of soldiers would be killed in a long and costly ground war. They said oil would skyrocket to $200 per barrel and trigger a global energy crisis. They said the Gulf states would collapse at the first Iranian strike, falling one after another like dominoes. They said our allies in the Gulf would turn against us and expel American bases. They said the BRICS nations would join the war alongside Iran and World War III would erupt. They said the stock market would crash and America would plunge into a deep economic recession. They said the Strait of Hormuz would be closed forever and global trade would grind to a halt. They said Iran would retaliate with a barrage of ballistic missiles and destroy the entire region. They said this war would become “another Vietnam” and end in humiliating defeat. They were wrong about everything… literally. Every single doomsday scenario collapsed in the face of reality. Now they’re silent… or already searching for their next catastrophic prediction.

It looks like peace with Iran is imminent. Stocks are way up, and oil prices are way down. The US Navy controls the Strait and the EU countries will take it over at some point. Iran lost everything and they are no longer allowed to enrich uranium. They’ve significantly damaged their relationships with their former Gulf allies. The US military won. They just executed the most flawless and historically unthinkable military operation in my lifetime. We are back! It’s over. The US won. Trump won. And, by extension, the American left lost. If Trump manages to successfully address Venezuela, Iran (including the Strait of Hormuz), and Cuba after having removed Chinese control of the Panama Canal, and entering into a Malaysian joint-military relationship to put our Navy in the the Malarcca Strait thereby putting 80% of China’s oil imports at risk (awarding the US massive/unheralded leverage) then how can anyone argue it was all understaken and accomplished by Trump just hamhandedly throwing darts at a wall and hoping for the best? The obvious answer is you can't. It will be considered some of the most bold & courageous moves ever made in world history. Moves whose outcomes will reshape the humanity moving forward. Trump went all in, and on the grandest stage of all time. And by all appearances, this is EXACTLY where things look to be heading. What will the late-state TDS crowd say then?
