@CoachBCass @Daygofootball EC faced 2 of the 4 open division contenders, played the Avo league schedule, and competed against Helix, Chino Hills, and Apple Valley. EC doesn't shy away from opponents. These kids fought all year, regardless of the outcome.

Do the 49ers need to rebuild, or do they need to retool? I side more on retooling the roster. I keep thinking about what Bill Belichick said last week on the Pat McAfee Show. When you lose so many close games, the gap feels like an ocean. I don't think the gap is an ocean. It's been a very ugly season for the Niners, but there is still a lot of talent on the roster. Where the 49ers need to upgrade and what they have to do to get back to their winning ways: - Get rid of Deebo Samuel. Time for Ricky Pearsall & Jacob Cowing to get more run. Jauan Jennings is worth extending and keeping. You hope Brandon Aiyuk can come back from a horrible knee injury. Draft is loaded with WR talent every year. Draft another one. - Replace Jake Brendel, Colton McKivitz and Aaron Banks along the OL - Get younger and more depth at edge rusher & defensive tackle - Let Charvarius Ward go. Deommodore Lenoir and Renardo Green are your starting outside CB's for the future, but they'll need to draft / sign depth - Let Dre Greenlaw sit the rest of the year. Sign him to a 1-year deal, draft a young LB and see what Dee Winters can do. I think he can be a player alongside Fred Warner - George Kittle is still playing at a very high level and I'd consider extending him (UFA after 2025) but backup TE is problem, so they'll need to draft his replacement and that young player can serve as depth in the meantime - I'd honestly think about having Brock Purdy play on the expiring year of his contract next year. He has to prove he's worth the contract - Fire Nick Sorensen, hire Robert Saleh - Fire Brian Schneider and bring in a new ST coach - Kyle Shanahan should hire an OC (in the role Mike McDaniel served) to give him a fresh set of eyes & ideas on the offensive side of the ball All of this is achievable and realistic IMO #49ers
