@stuartpykesport Not sure this post has gone down too well Stuart. Just saying "they're doing a fantastic job" looks like blind loyalty to me. The fee payers have spoken. They're not happy!!!!
English

@RedVeeDotNet Dagnall would've probably finished at least 2 of Murphys opportunities, it's all wrong and it's all slow, no threat, no pattern, no quality, it's just NOT the saints we want.
English

@RedVeeDotNet We don't lack effort, just ability. Utterly mediocre. Shorrocks was basically playing stand off stifling any time for whitby who's a 7 not a 6, so that's not working. Nene isn't fit so why play him? Robertsons our only genuine threat so whys he on the bench?
English

@RedVeeDotNet @pjwilson1990 I think your only mistake is in the bit where it says "if they do it properly".
English

It’s a brand new world class radium with the benefit of a blank space 18000 plaza to make into a full on festival if they do it properly..and then there’s plenty of big bars just outside the stadium plaza if fans wish to go off site
You do realise Newcastle is a pain in the arse trip for the majority of fans?
English

Willie Mason says what I and many others have been saying for the last 5 or 6 years. Our inability to think for ourselves and copy the NRL with "yardage/grind/good ball/completion" (yawn) has meant we now have lost any understanding of how to attack. @M_Shaw1
English

@TheTrevorHunt It requires clever, experienced businessmen with foresight & a 5/10/20 yr plan to structure & independently lead alongside intelligent rugby people to work out how we grow grassroots - none of which we've had in the last 50 years. None of this 'all clubs have a vote' stupidity.
English

In one word, describe the England Rugby League teams performance in the 2025 Ashes series.

@BHolloway4 @randostatsguy I'm not denying a faster play the ball makes it harder but focussing on tenths of a second! I'm sorry, but that's just BS.
English

@LastDaysKR @randostatsguy Average nrl ptb speed is around 3.5s. 0.5 seconds makes a huge difference in overall speed of the game and scrambling to get back on side. Especially once penalised a couple of times. If the ptb speed is quicker in game 2 England are completely cooked
English

@randostatsguy Unless I'm wrong, there isn't half a sec between any of the stats in the image. If it was 3 or 4 secs fair enough. Half a sec isn't going to make a difference. You're stating the obvious about a faster PTB making a difference but those stats don't back your claim up!
English

@LastDaysKR The average play the ball speed is half a second faster than Australia’s in the 1st test
England’s average PTB speed in the first test was 3.46 - nearly 0.7s faster.
A faster PTB speed gives the defence less time to set, allowing the attack to take more metres
That’s my point
English

It needs to be acknowledged. Regardless of the doom n gloom we rugby league fans often justifiably surround ourselves, professional, articulate, multi-faceted content like this makes me enthused and excited that all is not lost. Well done JW.

@WiganRugbyClips He's not incredible. He's just credible. He's got experience, expertise and knows business which is everything British rugby league has lacked for 30 years. It's not rocket science, it's just we've had our pockets pinched by people with their own self interests.
English

What id give for a bloke like this to run our game.
He’s incredible.
Craig Wall@CraigWallBBC
"I could see a train crash if Super League doesn't get the broadcast revenue to sustain 14 teams." ARL Commission chairman Peter V’landys speaks at length to @BBCSport's @danroan about the NRL's plans to potentially invest in Super League.
English

I'd love @M_Shaw1 to discuss this and keep it in the public attention. It's what a LOT of intelligent fans have been saying for years. Until we have experienced, academic business people making independent decisions for the good of the game English rugby league will go nowhere

English

Dear @TheRFL the game needs more of this @SuperLeague @TrylineUK @M_Shaw1 @RedVeeDotNet @JiffyRugby youtu.be/sB1LsaOBZKg?si… via @YouTube

@TheGameCaller @CU4365 Bradford will be causing irresponsible damage if they're back in Super League.
English

@CU4365 That's what Eamon McManus said the whole cost of the split away from the RFL and then the realignment back cost the sport. I've nothing personal against Lenagan but he caused irresponsible damage to the sport which is overlooked.
English

@FOXNRL Whoever writes sh*t like this clearly has no idea what good right looks like. Tristan Sailor is pinching money at Saints. He's one of the worst overseas imports we've ever had in the context of coming over here as a "star player". He couldn't lace Lachlan Cootes boots.
English

Tristan Sailor played 21 games for the Dragons and Broncos before joining the Super League 🚨
With 18 tries in his first season at St Helens he could be a potential target for an NRL expansion club...

English

@MegWellensX The mere fact it's even a discussion that's creating so much rugby league social media content is grounds for bringing the game into disrepute. It's an utter joke and if nothing else, a total insult to many people's intelligence. The game is going nowhere fast.
