@Salt_n_Smoke If the Holy Spirit was never present among mortals prior to Pentecost, what was Bezalel filled with (Ex 31:3)? What rested on David in 1 Sam 16:13? What came upon Gideon and Samson in Judges 6:34, 14:6? How is it the disciples felt a burning of the bosom when speaking to Jesus?

If you want to see how blind a Mormon chooses to be. Talk to them about Pentecost. About the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said His words won’t pass away. Here’s some verses about Jesus Future Tense promises about the Holy Spirit… They would rather choose, willingly, to follow Joseph Smiths version of events.(they believe gift of Holy Spirit has been since Adam and Eve learned about Jesus) John 7:39 ends it.

@Apologetics941 Is it possible for a mainstream Christian to avoid a double standard when debating Christ's true followers? Guess what. One of Christ's original apostles apostasized.

Lol this is why I say Mormonism is stupid. Joseph Smith recites a prophecy where he sees all the current 12 apostles of the Mormon church in the celestial Kingdom with Jesus. Out of the original 12 apostles six of them either apostasized or they were excommunicated.

Christians. How do you expect to receive Christ's solve to the problem if you aren't aware of the problem. You are in apostasy making up doctrines like wishes. You have zero authority. 3 persons must be 3 beings. You can't be a person and not a being. Delusional. #lds #mormon

@BardofLagrandil @NaysayersMedia The bible never says the trinity is one being. It says the opposite in John 17. If they are one being, then you believe you will become part of the trinity, and thats blasphemous.

Your #trinity sure has distinct roles and responsibilities as if it's tritheism. Slapping a sticker on it saying "this is one being" doesn’t make it true. If it walks like 3 Gods and quacks like 3 Gods, it's probably 3 Gods. Oh you thought "one God" was literal? How cute.#lds

@rogerecoff If you worship evidence over God, you will be deceived by the antichrist and false prophet will perform "many signs and wonders" (aka EVIDENCE) and many (those who worship evidence) will be deceived.

@LatterdayLogic On-brand LDS proud humility. Or humble pride. You’re the Pharisee Jesus mentions in Luke 18: 9-14. And “creedal Christians” are the tax collector.

Hey christians! If wearing a cross earns you heaven, why doesn't it teach that in the bible? (Did I sound pretty stupid to you? Yes? Then next time you make a jab at my religion, maybe check if we actually believe it first) #lds #mormon #jesus

If the Book of Mormon is false, why arent there: - internal contradictions - contradictions with the bible - led away from God by reading it - contradictory archeology - con behavior from Joseph Smith - proven anachronisms - Joseph’s writing "fingerprints" #bookofmormon #jesus

Mainstream Christians are like 2nd temple Jews: "Scripture gives us authority!" "There are no more prophets. You think God just left us without a prophet for centuries?" #christian #bible #jesus

@Apologetics941 Mainstream Christians think the temple is like a mutually exclusive switch. It apparently changed from being a building to your body. The temple was always your body! The temple is also a building! Why did the apostles continue worshipping in the temple in the New Testament?

@Faustzme People were being baptized in the name of Jesus long before Jesus was born. Why else would they have baptismal fonts in the old testament?

Amen. If LDS was really a restoration of Christ’s Church, there would be much more of this and much less “burning in your bosom”, “pray if it’s true”, “still small voice” talk. This is what the early Church believed. And it’s all available for reading. Can you really claim to know the Church has been restored if you haven’t read the words written by direct disciples of the Apostles? Their writings are easily accessible online (for example: orthodoxchurchfathers.com/fathers/) Try starting with: Clement of Rome (late 1st Century) - had seen Peter and Paul Ignatius of Antioch (35 AD ~ 107 AD) - John’s disciple and successor to Peter Polycarp of Smyrna (69 AD - 155 AD) - John’s disciple

@LatterdayLogic I mean wasn’t who was able to hold the priesthood changed doctrine? Doctrines can change can’t they? It’s the principle (or eternal truth) behind them that can’t. Didn’t Bednar give a talk on this?
