@Laur3nt_6 @shubomiiiii Ronaldo does more ball carries relative to his total ball carries in the final third a lot more than Messi, that too in the flank and you are much more marked on the flank by both a player and the limited space of the touchline

@Laur3nt_6 @shubomiiiii To be honest I don’t know Messi’s defensive stats at all so I will need to read up and comment on it but from all the games I’ve watched Messi most of the time after losing the ball will not recover on defense and very rarely is in his own box.

@Laur3nt_6 @shubomiiiii The stats for progressive carry distance are quite untracked and not very organized so I had an ai model estimate it based on whatever it could find, and approximately Ronaldo’s is about 90m per game, while Messi’s is around 180-200m per game
