I think shipping arguments are the most destructive thing for Cloud's character.
Tifa fans continuously drag him and his interactions with Aerith, Aerith fans paint him as an ahole just to diminish his moments with Tifa.
Then Aertis add insult to the injury because they hate men.

i think its completely okay to dislike the ff7 remakes as its all up to personal opinion but yall are lying if you dont think remake helps with the story in someway with how characters, relationships, and certain big scenes are way more fleshed out and impactful

Regardless of whether you think it’s good writing or not, Sephiroth is established in the story as being the one in control. He’s not a puppet. I personally think a villain driven by human motives is more interesting than an alien parasite who just consumes & destroys

When I first played the original FF7 a few years ago, I always thought Sephiroth was like a cool, aloof badass, but then in the original game he learns like one detail about his past and becomes like an incel school shooter out of nowhere, kind of a bitch to be honest

The only version of Sephiroth that would be powerful enough to do anything Sequelists claim he could do like being all knowing is the OG version of Sephiroth. The Sephiroth in AC is back to being a Jenova puppet. Then they expect an even weaker version after AC can time travel?🤡

They said this back in 2020. Having Sephiroth appear is early is due to being well known because of his popularity as well as Remake being a Trilogy. Stop overthinking its some time travelling Sephiroth Sequel coming back to "Remake the Timeline" nonsense. Its a Reimagining.

AC Sephiroth is not a Jenova puppet, he never was. We can discuss about the Nibelheim incident, but even the Reunion Files mention that Sephiroth has ascended to an higher plane of existence and that now he can control the negative Lifestream at his will.
