Watching this #Diddythereckoning documentary on #Netflix honestly made helping people feel pointless. Seeing all these men sit comfortably on camera and kick a man while he is down is wild, especially when so many of them built their brands, businesses, and reputations off his creativity, ideas, and genius. Even if every allegation against #Diddy is true, and even if he crossed them, there is still a line you do not cross: you do not publicly trash the person who once put food on your table. A lot of these guys are probably still living off money and opportunities that only existed because of their affiliation with him. People underestimate how big it is when someone teaches you how to make money or opens doors you could not reach alone. You can fall out or even end up hating each other, but that still does not give you a moral pass to smear them in public; there should be some respect for the hand that helped you eat. Look at the guy in the picture: he says he was cheated out of a 25% stake in Bad Boy, yet he stayed working there and only chose to sue after he got fired. Now he is throwing around every allegation because the timing suits him, and anyone who has done real business can see something in that story does not fully add up. So the takeaway feels harsh but clear: be careful who you help. Family or not, protect yourself, make your money on your own, and if you have to work with people, keep it strictly professional, employer and employee, no extra strings. From now on, I’m hiring talent, not planting trees I’ll later get hanged from.
