I am an extremely PROUD mom of an active duty US naval officer ⚓️(he is on a destroyer) and Marine 🦅🌎⚓️veteran (She - yes, SHE! - was on the ground for 13 months in 2004/2005 in Fallujah, Iraq, including supporting the Battle of Fallujah and has a service related disability). My children served and are serving, but they would be the first to tell you that merely makes them good citizens, not governor material. I am the wife of Marine @Mike_Cox and my dad served in the Navy so your assertion is total bull shit.

I have filed an extensive Freedom of Information Act request seeking records between Benson, the Michigan Department of State, and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Benson should immediately turn over every file, email, calendar entry, meeting note, and communication involving SPLC. The public deserves full transparency into her time on the board and her time running Michigan’s elections. If there is nothing to hide, release the records.

Brought donuts to DTW this morning and visited with some of the DHS agents doing the work to keep our skies and borders safe. It’s unacceptable that TSA agents have gone without pay for 42 days simply because Democrats hate law enforcement more than they love our country. I will always have the back of every law enforcement officer working to keep Michiganders safe!
