@itsallisonleigh My now husband did make the first move - but it took some time. He was very intentional with telling me he was interested and wanted to date. He’s not your typical man though.

When your almost 18 month old decides to struggle with sleep while your 15 weeks pregnant is really tough. 😭

When I can no longer do the ministry I do, I think I’d want to pray over babies. Just lay my old hands on those little infant heads & pray over them. Pray for them to grow up to love Jesus so much & in his name to love people. Serve people. Ease some burdens. Love the Scriptures.

A parent was surprised this week when she was at my house and I explained that dessert is not something my kids “earn”. If it is dessert night, they get it regardless of clearing their plate. I forgot this idea was not common place.

@travisakers We just got back to Great Lakes from being there. We wanted to make sure we were able to ride a few more times before it was gone. I’m going to miss the sweet memories, but my 7 year old can’t wait to see the magic they make with the bayou

@RealCandaceO I was in an abusive marriage and do not regret the divorce for mine and my daughters safety. I do hate dealing with the broken legal system over custody/support and the way they handle it.
