@hen10freeman This is 1 of the main reasons why I don’t support changing definitions to include males in the definition of woman. Everyone shld have a right to consent to their own boundaries, esp. with intimate care but also in any scenario. You absolutely deserve privacy & dignity, & TRUTH.

How would you feel? Disability can happen to everyone and old age happens to us all. You may need intimate personal care, if you don’t care about what I’ve said, come back to me when you are in my situation, it’ll be interesting to know what you think. #NoToSelfID #RepealTheGRA

🧵 The nerve of people being vile about me wanting same-sex care. People asking ‘what about lesbians’ is homophobic, they are women. This isn’t about sexuality, it’s about sex. I’ve been told I have an agenda, not wanting men to touch me is not an agenda. Here’s my 24hrs 1/

@afaris1978 @tfmadden17 @ask_aubry It’s a massive sexist trope to bring up male bad behaviour & then surmise that such behaviour must be the mother’s fault. You then assumed & minimised the male parent responsibility in creating their Little monster. But whatever, I mean the tweet is still there for all to read

@LauraLuard @tfmadden17 @ask_aubry Not "women" in general. But yes, people are highly influenced by their parents. And in most cases, at least one of those parents is a woman.

@tfmadden17 @ask_aubry Great point! This sort of behavior does seem to frequently be encouraged by a dysfunctional mom (and presumably dad too, although he is usually a silent participant). "But mommy says I'm special and I can get away with this!!"

@afaris1978 @AITA_online The DD ask is NOT exploitative. She’s giving up her freedom to be dependent on a dude who is clearly controlling, selfish, sexist & unreasonable. The DD lift balances the deal a little as she won’t have constant access to her own car; that arrangement only benefits him otherwise

@AITA_online The constant DD thing seems a bit exploitative by her. But given that literally everything else about this paints him as the bad guy, I'm going to go with unreliable narrator on that part. Definitely TA.

@ManCityHelp @elltells79 @afcbournemouth If you’re not allowing ppl to bring sunscreen, you MUST provide it. Or else you’re putting fans, vulnerable ppl at risk, esp kids, ppl w pale skin/who burn easily, Any1 who has or has had melanoma/other cancer, is genetically at high risk of melanoma, AND all ppl there. "This is legalised corruption," says @RMTunion’s Mick Lynch "It’s skimming the public purse. In the health service, in care, in education. "In every public service you can think of."

@jeffrey105 @jennye_lee We already pay for NHS services. Any dearth of services are due to outsourcing to private companies and installing Libertarian neoliberal managers with the intent of gutting the NHS.

@jeffrey105 @jennye_lee That’s the beginning of a slippery slope to privatisation! Don’t let them get a foot in the door, next you’ll be billed £6895 after childbirth & won’t be allowed to take your baby home until you’ve paid it. Also agree w Emma H that it causes a barrier to poorer ppl accessing care

@jennye_lee We already pay for prescriptions, dentists, opticians. Maybe we should pay, say £30, to attend ED with a non-A & E complaint to be fast-triaged to an on-site GP to remove pressure on EDs. The fee's not payable for genuine ED patients.

If you want to stop abortion, you need to prevent unwanted pregnancies. And men are 100% responsible for unwanted pregnancies. No for real, they are. Perhaps you are thinking: IT TAKES TWO! And yes, it does take two for _intentional_ pregnancies.

I’m a mother of six, and a Mormon. I have a good understanding of arguments surrounding abortion, religious and otherwise. I've been listening to men grandstand about women's reproductive rights, and I'm convinced men actually have zero interest in stopping abortion. Here's why…

@SGPerth @mylessmith33 Is it a kind of optical illusion created by the fact that we unconsciously approximate countries’ positioning to a more classic shape or angle in our minds? Like for example I assume a reangle of England’s South Coast to run parallel to the line of latitude (even tho it doesn’t)

@such_hockey_wow @AITA_online Cannot understand how anyone Can think this was her fault. She was not the one yodelling! Women are not responsible for their husbands, adult grown men are responsible entirely for their own actions. NTA. I also love the husbands way of dealing with this with humour.
