22 years ago Glasgow Uni accepted me with lower grades than needed because of a widening access policy. My Dad, a teacher, was forever impressed. He didn’t live to see it but today they promoted me to Professor. This one’s for you Paw Broon, your hand at my back X

If the first few weeks have a light workload, enjoy it as it won't stay that way. 5. Do slightly more than your job planned hours, but learn to say no. 1/3
