@nateparrott What sucks is you can only export to Claude code or as weird formats like pdf and PowerPoint

@analiaibargoyen @nateparrott Thanks for the feedback! Totally hear you on the "one task at a time" and "public links"... Could you share more about what you're building for design system management? 👀

@nateparrott I'd love teams of agents in CD! having to work on one task at a time is really limiting. also easily being able to share public links for user testing. a semi-opinionated design system management layer too - building that myself rn

@ryanlanciaux @nateparrott @trq212 Hey Ryan -- have you tried the "edit" mode in a project? (there's an "edit" button in the top right) This surfaces some characteristics on selection (fonts, spacing, sizes, etc), and curious if we're missing some here!

@nateparrott @trq212 I think it works well for the most part. It’d be really interesting if it had some of the design tool characteristics like inspecting spacing/fonts/etc but it’s helpful.

@nateparrott I wish it was natively integrated into claude code when there was a design specific task/asset creation - make it a skill not a seperate app. I dont want to be mid project, step outside of claude code, use design, then bring those assets into context.

@LauraPangx @nateparrott for instance, a while ago the video on screen that was visible was exported in low quality. When the export went down as in an error occured, i didn't know and the export silently failed.

@options165 @nateparrott @trq212 Hey Tushar thanks for the feedback! Are you able to share more about the kinds of rendering issues you've run into? (Feel free to dm me as well) Any specifics here would be much appreciated, we want to make export to PDF reliable for you.

@nateparrott @trq212 Export to pdf quality can be improved. Rendering can have issues which consumes more tokens fix it. I doubt i can have a high quality printable pdf.

@codyplof @nateparrott Hey Cody! Thanks for the feedback. Could you say more about the kinds of skills you want in it? Any other features you're looking for? Re: seamless with code, what would your dream workflow look like?

@duanehenry_ @nateparrott @trq212 Hey thanks for the feedback! We recently added export to jpg / png support (you can access at the bottom of the edit mode panel, or in share > more formats) - any other export woes you could elaborate on?

@nateparrott @trq212 Exporting is completely awful. You can’t even export to jpg, png, none of that. The UX is bad, it’s confusing. The designs are absolutely great though. It builds out brands fabulously. The integration between it and Claude Code is nice, but could be better. UX needs upgrading.

@bitbangit @nateparrott Hi! We just added png / jpeg export options for images (you can access under share menu with more formats, or the bottom of the edit panel). Let me know if those work for you or you are looking for something else.

@nateparrott It's pretty good. It would be nice to have easier export options for images. I'm curious, why is Opus 3 still an option in it?

@nateparrott The branding voice works great, and most designs look great (not a designer) to me out of the box. I use it a lot for replacing one-off reports that I previously would have used Canva. That said, the printing functionality could be a little more defined. I.e. better PDFs.

@M3gy0 @nateparrott Hey Peter thanks for sharing! Have you tried the "edit" mode in a project - these have some of the direct edit manipulation. Or are you looking for specifically more layout movement related ones?

I'm using quite extensively for my course presentations. I love the whole idea of html doing the work. The animations are so creative, it feels fresh. I probably will never make a ppt file in my life again. That said a few direct edit features would be much welcome. I know there was a recent upgrade on this regard, but using a prompt to put a textbox a bit higher is a bit slow, and it's just easier to move stuff directly where I want.

Can you feel the Buzz? 🐝 Extremely excited and proud to debut Figma Buzz, a tool for brand designers to collaborate with marketers and collaborators. Buzz makes design simple. The product doubles down on Figma's mission to make design accessible to all, with a simple, lightweight interface. Designers can bring in any design from Figma Design, and publish it as a template in Buzz. Then anyone can use these building blocks to spin up a wide range of creations in minutes - social media campaigns, birthday cards, posters, billboards & more. Buzz goes into open beta today, and is free to use for anyone with a @figma account 😁 The biggest congrats to the iconic team behind @figma Buzz - @natashatenggoro @aoshengran @jcstoy @laurapangx @brendanodris @ayushsood @lilykonings and many many more (who may or may not have twitter lol). Shoutout to @damiencorrell & @lemmccann for a killer demo and catch @natashatenggoro & @aoshengran on stage tomorrow to learn more about the intricate design decisions behind the making of Buzz.
