@Laura_B329 Agreed Laura, whilst sometimes I think it is possible to help avoid #negativesum outcomes by setting aims and finding common ground, as you say sometimes this is not possible, perhaps better acknowledged at the start of any collaboration.

#OUB329 WK15 - Collinson and Ackroyd’s (2005) resistance continuum enabled me to understand differing types of resistance and reflect on situations where I have resisted, without even knowing it. I am now more aware of different actions that could be considered resistance.

#OUB329 WK11 - #constructivedissent is positive for organisations. In order to create this environment, #leaders need to encourage debate and discussion. Previously I would have been reluctant to do this but I now see how a culture of constructive dissent should be embraced.

#OUB329 WK11 - #Conflict shouldn’t always be avoided. #Leaders should direct people towards #constructive #dialogue. Whilst conflict is disruptive in some contexts, if handled well it can also provoke conversations previously not considered and result in positive outcomes.
