We oppose the selective targeting of NGOs since there are absolutely no grounds for any investigation. We want full transparency on the use of ALL 🇪🇺funds & their beneficiaries. A body better suited to investigate maladministration and/or alleged cases of corruption would be the interinstitutional Ethics Body, covering all EU institutions. However EPP and the far right are currently blocking its setup and finalisation.

Dialogue with civil society organisations is key in the development of Social Europe initiatives. I was happy to meet Social Platform today to hear their ideas and I look forward to continuing that exchange.
