Just spent two days with senior staff at Anthropic and a group of Christians deeply committed to finding redemptive paths for AI. Encouraging on many fronts. Above all I think the guests were unanimously blown away by the humility and moral seriousness of Anthropic's leadership.

Thankful for the opportunity to think through this. How do we steward our God-given gift of communication? How do we cautiously approach new technologies that promise more efficient work?
Reformed Dogmatika@RefDogmatika

What will AI undo? Neil Postman said the right question about any new technology isn't "What will it do?" it's "What will it undo?" Laura (@Laurarruth) applies that question to artificial intelligence & the gift of human communication. Read here ⬇️ reformeddogmatika.com/artificial-int…

I genuinely do not believe that AI can make me a better writer. Not in the drafting, not in the editing, not in the conceiving or brainstorming, none of it. I crave human reviewers and editors. I embrace the virtue of doing things "inefficiently."

@presbyterianpew Would have chosen social work. I’ve volunteered a bit in it and get jazzed in the environment. But I love what I currently do which is making Websites and helping with SEO.

If you had to rewind to high school and start again and couldn't choose the job or career path you have now, what would you pursue? Curious what you'd choose! (Also maybe mention what it is you do now for reference.)

A simple ordinary car wash reminded me of the cleansing I have received in my life. Past. Present. Future. Secure. The audio features parts of Psalm 51 from the ESV and C(H)SB, along with an ending from Heidelberg Catechism questions 3, 18, 56 & 59.

How I built the website for @PastorPerks This was a collaboration effort with Sarah Perkins and lots of learning about what a query loop does. If you need a customized website, DM me!

“The problem with approaching God on these terms is that a person never has the sense that he or she has done enough. There remains a nagging reality of God's disfavor, which is the enduring point of the law.” After hearing the law, we must be comforted by the gospel.

I found this article through a recent post on X. It’s a helpful read for those who read Radical and in hindsight found it unhelpful. It was 2014 and I was living in constant “not good enough” status when I read this. modernreformation.org/resources/arti…

"Salvation, in the modern era, comes not through eucharist, pilgrimage, or prayer, but through government action, technological progress and/or capitalist wealth creation. Ideology promises us a material world remade for the better...yet...it ends up drowning us in tyranny" - PK

Can I just say: I didn’t grow up in a bookish family, or a bookish town. No one EVER heeded my recommendations. So the fact that sometimes hundreds of you claim to have bought or borrowed a book because I endorsed it? I still can’t fathom it. It means the world. Thank you.

Gormenghast is the greatest work of fiction you’ve never heard of. The story of a vast castle & the strange family who lives there, it reads like a collaboration between Tolkien & Dickens and features one of literature’s great baddies. A work of mad genius, abundant in pleasures

Here's my first post about a side project I've been working on the last few months: This is Inland (@InlandBooks), a new platform that empowers authors to host live video events, either one-time or multi-session, and keep a flat 85% of the revenue earned. inlandbooks.com

Why include those in the "Hall of Faith" (Hebrews 11) who would never pass a spiritual background check? The object of their faith secured their righteous standing before God. #ByFaith
