This might seem off-topic, but training BJJ has helped me play Magic better. It feels like solving puzzles while someone is trying to crush you. I think it’s helped me stay calmer under pressure and make better decisions in games. Competed recently and I enjoyed it a lot.

@patxisanchez That’s not really as simple as that, also for some regions it will be like 1 player per country then.

Competitive system in Mtg looked good in theory, but it's losing its appeal There are so many RCQs that they've lost value, and the RC no longer feels exclusive It's a GP every few months, not a special event. Simple fix: limit RCQs to one per store. Make qualifying matters again

qualified for arena champs with pioneer doomsday (: many thanks to @univercemtg for the guide and chats about the deck first day 2 in a QW. had to 5-0 since i lost r1g2 to timing out with rivulet loop but i did😎 7-1 day 1, 4-1* (5-0) day 2

Other players were able play lessons at a high level. I wasn’t one of them. Lyon main event 1-3 QW 4-3 LCQ 1-2 Great weekend.

I WON THE PIONEER CHALLENGE WITH LUMRA (we split the finals) Deck is playable once again now that GW is less represented, UR matchup is very good, I went 5-0 vs it today and 3 of them were otd too. @GrindstoneMTGO @fireshoes

@LauriKazuga Thanks for your kind words Lauri. I’m glad you did well with the deck. It’s mostly Tristan’s genius build that I just enjoyed playing. I would definitely not call myself unlucky, but with enough dedication and practice, perhaps one day I’ll be a mainstay around the tour 😎

I top8ed first premier of the season!!! Modern super qualifer with beautiful and disgusting neoform deck! Would've wanted the RC invite but Mocs points all that matters! I can't imagine this being possible without @FrowningTable, this guys is some kind of junior of the year 1/x
