If there was even a slight chance that he’s innocent then NO but if he’s absolutely caught in the act, strong evidence and/or admitted to it I’d say it was quicker than the death penalty. Sad that the father had to take the law and matters into his own hands. We have to remember that our law still make our country what it is, and innocent until proven guilty is one of them.

My Labrador is 7 years old — very gentle, loyal Last Saturday, she had her bachelorette party at home. I went to my parents' place and left the dog with her because she said she liked him. Everyone was busy... and he was poisoned. That dog trusts people completely. And they let him down. When I got home, I said directly — pack your things, cancel the wedding. She was shocked. I wasn’t. Then I started getting calls. Her family, friends... everyone said I was overreacting. "Ending a relationship over one mistake." My family was also on her side. My mom said: "She didn't mean to. The dog survived, right?" Yes… he survived. Barely. 💔 My sister also said I overreacted. But no one understands... This isn't just about one night. She uses her phone while driving. She has left the stove on before. I kept ignoring it. But this time? My dog was involved. A life that depends on us. And she couldn’t follow a simple instruction. She's not a child. She's 27 years old. If I can’t trust her now... how will I in the future? With kids? A home? Love alone isn’t enough... when someone’s carelessness can cost a life. Just because you don’t understand it or don’t like it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Micro-generations exist because standard boxes are too big. Generation Jones bridges a massive cultural and economic gap that the blanket term "Baby Boomer" completely misses. Micro-generations are standard practice. Sociologists use them because standard 20-year generation boxes are simply too big to fit everyone accurately. The 1960s divide. Older Boomers were adults participating in 1960s counterculture. For example my age group (1954) was just a kid watching it on TV. The economic split. Early Boomers entered a thriving post-war job market. My group entered the workforce during the brutal 1970s recession and gas crises. The cultural bridge. It exists to describe the unique group caught right between the hippie optimism of the 1960s and the cynical realism of Generation X.

There’s a generation a lot of people forget exists. We were born at the tail end of the Boomers, but we are not culturally the same as people born in the 40s and early 50s. We are Generation Jones. And honestly, it explains a lot. We grew up in a world that still felt fundamentally analog, but we were young enough to be dragged headfirst into the digital revolution. We are the bridge generation between rotary phones and smartphones, between slide rules and AI, between Walter Cronkite and algorithm driven media. We remember when there were only a few television channels and the entire country watched the same thing at the same time. We also adapted to the internet, email, forums, social media, streaming and now artificial intelligence. We lived before and after the technological singularity hit everyday life. That is not a small thing. People born in the 40s came of age in a post World War II America that was still industrial, deeply hierarchical and institutionally stable. Their formative years were shaped by the Cold War, Vietnam, the civil rights era and a society where information moved slowly. Generation Jones came later. We inherited the aftermath of all of that. We were the kids who watched Watergate destroy blind trust in government. We watched manufacturing begin to collapse. We saw divorce rates explode. We were the first truly latchkey generation in massive numbers. We learned independence early because many of us had to. We grew up with one foot in old America and one foot in whatever this new thing was becoming. We played outside until the streetlights came on but we also learned DOS commands. We learned cursive and keyboarding. We had card catalogs and Google searches. We went from vinyl records to cassette tapes to CDs to MP3s to streaming in one lifetime. We remember maps. We remember memorizing phone numbers. We remember life before GPS and before every human interaction became filtered through a screen. And because of that, I think Generation Jones developed a very unique perspective. We are adaptable because we had no choice but to adapt. We learned technology as adults instead of being born into it. We remember a slower world but were forced to survive in a rapidly accelerating one. That creates a very different mindset than either older Boomers or younger Gen X and Millennials. A lot of us also reject the caricature people now associate with “Boomers.” We were not buying houses for the cost of a sandwich in 1965. The interest rate on my first house was over 14% and that was after buying down a point. Many of us got hit by recessions, outsourcing, pension collapses and economic instability just like younger generations did. We watched promises evaporate in real time. We understand older generations because we were raised by them. We understand younger generations because we had to evolve alongside them. That’s why the Jones generation often feels culturally homeless. We are rarely discussed, rarely defined and usually lumped into categories that don’t actually fit us. But we exist. We are the human transition point between the industrial age and the digital age. And frankly, there will probably never be another generation quite like us again.

Generation Jones refers to the micro-generation born between 1954 and 1965, bridging the gap between the Baby Boomers and Generation X. People in this group are considered too young to relate to the early counterculture of the 1960s but too old to have grown up as core Gen Xers. I was born in ‘54 and yet I identify with both the boomers and the Gen X’s. Because Generation Jones is a "cusp" or micro-generation, its younger members (born 1961–1965) actually overlap with the very beginning of Generation X. The standard Baby Boomer generation includes anyone born between 1946 and 1964! Being born in 1954 makes mr a "Boomer I" on paper, but I am the ultimate "Cusp" individual who anchors both experiences. Because 1954 sits exactly on the borderline of these two cultural groups, so I likely share traits with both: •The Boomer Side: I was a teenager in the late 1960s and early 1970s. I remember the moon landing, the peak of the civil rights movement, and the tail end of the Vietnam War draft era. •The Generation Jones Side: We entered the job market right as the economic landscape shifted in the mid-to-late 1970s. We had to "jones" (yearn) for the easy economic prosperity that older Boomers experienced a few years before us. Demographers often call people born in my exact window "The Leading Edge"of Generation Jones or "Late-Wave Boomers." We get to claim the cultural history of both worlds!

If this is a government building then the man is absolutely wrong about it being “public owned” While often referred to as "owned by the public" because they are funded by taxpayers, legal ownership is held by the government entity. The man deserves to be arrested, or at least detained. No one is above the law and his attitude was just that. He was spewing out his rights and what he thinks that he can do but he hasn’t completely wrong. And if he would’ve called his lawyer his lawyer would’ve told him the same thing shut up and answer the question. We all have rights but your rights are not gonna matter if you aren’t going to explain to the police why you are there.

People like him have ruined our sense of dignity and safety. What a dick.
