Former Portadown player Chris Lavery has announced his retirement from football at the age of 34.
Chris joined Portadown in the summer of 2017 from Glentoran and went to make 133 apperances for the Ports, scoring 30 goals during an almost 5 year stay.
During his time at Shamrock Park, Chris was part of our 2019/20 Championship winning squad and picked up several individual honours including the NIFL Championship Player of the Month for March 2018 alongside the club’s Players Player of the Year and a clean sweep of Supporters Club’s Player of the Year awards in 2017/18.
