I want to express my deep gratitude to my PI Peleg Hasson, my lab mates, and to all who have contributed in their own way to the effort that went into this work. And now, onward to the next project! #myotwitter

These subpopulations, reside in distinct niches, express unique transcriptome, and exert opposing effect on myogenesis. Remarkably, we found this process to fail in paralyzed muscles.

Super excited to announce that I will be starting my lab this fall in the @AM_OMRF unit at @OMRF! The group will focus on mechanisms/countermeasures of non-contractile tissue accumulation in aging muscle, with a particular emphasis on FAPs. (1/4) omrf.org/programs/aging…

In this ms, we provide novel description of #fibroblasts embryonic diversification in skeletal muscles. We find they segregate largely into two spatially and functionally distinct subpopulations.

Wow. A bug in the Seaborn data visualization software hid many CD=1 papers, leading Park et al to incorrectly conclude that disruption in science and technology is declining (top histogram), while it is not ( bottom histogram). @VincentGinis

רציתי להתנצל בפני כל מי ששיקרתי לו שקרה לי הדבר הנורא מכל, מסתבר שזה מזל משמיים. אחרת היום, חס וחלילה היה לי בן זוג שאני אוהבת והיינו ממשיכים את חיינו ביחד. כנראה שזה באמת ״קרה משמיים״ אחרת הייתי בבעיה קשה יותר.

@marwanm87763212 @lpachter @TorahJudaism I appreciate the civil response. It kinda makes sense if you think about it. Most jews (who were very much natives here) were exiled from this land hundreds of hundreds of years ago, and are known to had very little mixing (willingly) with people of other religions in history.

But still the point is that indigenous palastineian people who are genetically Semitic levantine population that have been there for generations ( Jews/Christians/ Muslims) is genetically different from Israeli's

This is false. First, genetic testing is permitted in Israel by doctor or court order. What is prohibited is direct-to-consumer (DTC) testing, specifically use of a DTC test in the country. There are many reasons for this, and it's true also in other countries, e.g. France. 1/

@marwanm87763212 @lpachter @TorahJudaism Only about half of Israeli Jews are of European origin The other are from middle eastern countries such as Morocco, Yemen, Tunisia, Syria, Iraq, Iran (Persia) and more. You even got a fair amount of Ethiopian jews here

@lpachter And how is that ? Most of Israeli now days are first generation or direct descendants from European immigrant that came after the belfour declaration in 1926? And even indigenous palastenine Jews like @TorahJudaism are genetically very different from European immigrant
