Our union is deeply grateful for the work of the @sameerproject to sustain communities in Gaza. We voted to send our $240 in 2025 discretionary funds to this campaign, and we hope more workplaces will join us in keeping these efforts going.

The “Give Warmth to Babies” initiative launched by The Sameer Project continues with awareness sessions by a doctor on hypothermia, and onesie distributions! chuffed.org/project/136892…. On December 17th, the Translating Falasteen (@translatingpal) x The Sameer Project visited Men Ajel Ghaza Camp in Gaza City, and did a workshop on protection from frostbite. About 80 mothers received wool onesies that we got custom made in Gaza. So 20 outfits were given to mothers from Anan Camp next to it. The total cost for outfits was $1,195 with 9% commission. Doctor fee and transport cost $162 with 15% commission. The selection of camps for this initiative is the coastal camps where babies are at high risk from death. Next week, The Sameer Project plans on visiting 3 more camps but your support is needed. Donate to the Medical Campaign today to support the “Give Warmth to Babies” initiative.
