The #IAFF is dismayed by the NFPA Standards Council decision to deny implementation of TIA 1594 to NFPA 1971, but we will not be swayed by those who want to minimize the health hazards and will not relent in our efforts to develop effective and safe PFAS-free PPE. @IAFFNewsDesk

Local 146 thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sister in New Haven CT as they lost one of their own in a structure fire last night. Three other members were also injured while fighting the fire and rescuing trapped civilians. Speedy recovery to all those injured#LODD
