Thanks to everyone who voted in the 2021 Best of Lawrence contest. We are now tallying votes and expect to announce Top-5 finishers for each category around March 15.

@kolisach @FranklinFantini Sigh. We get that. But hear us out on this. 1) The one response we get with overwhelmingly more frequently than "the ballot is too large," is "can you add category X" to the ballot. and 2) Nobody has to vote in the categories you don't want to open up.

@kolisach @FranklinFantini Social Media (animal)—why skip that? And why not give a shout out to your favorite non-profits and teachers? But the rest of the ballot is there for you to vote in or not...and you have all month to do it.

@FranklinFantini Each year, there are always a few votes for Lawrence, Massachusetts, businesses. Which is endearing and makes us wonder why Lawrence, Indiana, doesn't have the same spirit.

@NerdPun @willaverill @leewayfranks @PapaKenosPizza Will Averill will have a much funnier reply to this than we could come up with, but we're sure he'd appreciate votes for Willow Center in nonprofit category. Or, really, vote any group in that category and keep on supporting all civic groups getting us through the pandemic.
