@supermarioelia Mario, have you actually read the studies or just the biased NY Times article. q30.Com

Hopefully we don't see the Q-collar become popular given the dearth of evidence supporting its use...

For those wondering what Quinn is wearing around their neck, it's a Q-Collar which is a safety device meant to protect against brain trauma #FIFAWWC #CanWNT
English

@PatientCV Not really proven? Read the published studies, the FDA clearance and the testimonials.
English

Q-Collar is not yet really proven to prevent concussion if used by elite athletes.

Let’s start the weekend off right!
RT for a chance to win this signed @ajterrell_8 mini helmet!

English

The NFL acknowledged Friday that concussions rose significantly during the 2022 regular season, a sobering outcome that aligned with a season-long public conversation about head injuries, per @SeifertESPN:
espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…
English

@darrencleaveng2 @christomasson Not true. He wasn’t wearing it in that game.
English

@christomasson he already was wearing one in the game he got his last concussion💀
English

@nickmahowald @vikesinsider @christomasson Actually he did not wear it in that game. Then he was concussed when not wearing it. Look carefully at the game.
English

@vikesinsider @christomasson He was wearing a Q collar against the Jets. Worked perfectly 🥴
English

After suffering 3 concussions as a rookie, the #Vikings plan to have CB Akayleb Evans wear a Vicis helmet and a Q-Collar, which will provide extra protection.
Two examples are attached below (Bosa wearing the Vicis helmet, Pollard wearing the Q-Collar).

@cody_walthall @Billyhottakes The patent is owned by a company that Jerry jones owns.
English

@OrthoThompson @LauraWillcox @QCollarOfficial So as an MD you 1. Haven’t looked at the research and 2. You are quoting a PHD who writes about hotdog eating contests (quick google search) but sure .. “This says it all”
English

@LauraWillcox @QCollarOfficial I haven't looked into the research enough to be able to comment on it.
My thought is that there should be immediate, large and easily measurable difference. If that isn't the case, it's probably not all that useful.

English

AT community- let’s start a conversation! I recently had a player approach me about my thoughts on the trending @QCollarOfficial and if he should invest in one. What are your thoughts professionally and personally on this product? Is it the next big thing?

@kilogolfsierra @JustinThomas34 They’re FDA approved. The science makes sense, but I don’t know how well they actually work.
English

@dannykanell @JustinThomas34 Seems “like a scam” statement without doing any of your own reading, research, or talking to the medical advisors. Nice.
English

@JustinThomas34 Seems kinda like a scam but to protect against concussions q30.com
English

@jmlubc @JustinThomas34 Says the non athlete, non medical professional nobody with 40 followers.
English

@JustinThomas34 They are bogus. Neck ring will not prevent brain injury or concussion. Snake oil!
English

@kilogolfsierra @TomVH @JustinThomas34 FDA approved for a ‘Class II medical device’ is the highest level of approval
English

@TomVH @JustinThomas34 FDA approved doesn't mean a whole lot. There are levels of approval. And that approval may be for a completely different therapeutic use.
English

@ActionBonkson @BigSeanQ_ Confirmed ?? Hahah omg get over yourself. This product as simple as it is, will benefit so many. Be a skeptic if you want but this thing works.
English

@BigSeanQ_ And confirmed to be snake oil treatment. Don’t try to get people thinking otherwise.
