@pavyg @AlexZverev Not doubting his skills but he got lucky this year with Alcarez not playing due to injury and Sinner crashing out in initial rounds itself helped him immensely.

He's had to fight Type 1 diabetes, false allegations, streams of abuse and vilification from many people including even from certain media. So many saying he's not mentally strong, many saying he's not good enough. Today @AlexZverev silenced them all. 🫶

So I've been to see Lee tonight, he's in good spirits, and he's told me that lots of people and journalists have been in contact with him, he's told me he doesn't want all that lime light acknowledgement, he just goes out everyday and work's his arse off to keep his family going in these hard times under labour rule, he expressed that he's only done what any other normal hard working person would've done. I told him that alot of people out there want to thank him, he doesn't really do social media, so he doesn't know how far and wide he's been put out.
