St James's Hospital where lab medical scientists from @MedLabAssoc are beginning two days of strike action over pay parity, burnout and career pathways. They say they carry out the same job as colleagues in hospital labs but are paid an average 8% less.

Strike dates announced today for Medical Scientists: Wednesday 18th May. Tuesday 24th May. Wednesday 25th May. Tuesday 31st May. Wednesday 1st June. Thursday 2nd June. Healthcare will come to a standstill. No operations, no service to clinics or general practice, no care.
