@TeamYouTube The automated demonetizations for "Inauthentic Content" are completely crushing our businesses and our Lives. These are real, human voiced channels. This algorithmic error doesn't just hurt the narrator; it has a devastating financial effect on our authors and everyone down the production chain who relies on this income (looking at you @vidIQ ,@TubeBuddy). We have compiled a list of unique authorial affected creators, creating content that millions of people enjoy. Afterall, storytelling is the worlds oldest form of entertainment. Every single channel here features 100% human voiced storytelling, unique scripts and hundreds of thousands of hours of original production. The current systems sweeps are misidentifying branding as automation. It is not fair to us, our teams and last but most importantly our subscribers and fans that an algorithm can instantly silence the voices they rely on. Our Hardcore Fans listen to us every single night to destress, escape and connect with real human storytellers. They deserve better than a platform that locks out authentic creators over a glitch. We produce original horror fiction, and feature new stories every single week, and have been doing so since 2012. We appealed in March and AI reviewed the appeal and reinstated us almost immediately. Story didn't violate guidelines but since CGS posted 1st this was all they could come up w/. IDK for sure but I saw some comments & then *poof* demonetized the next day

@The_Best_Quark @NaturesTemper @TeamYouTube Right? If someone had $1 for every Minecraft playthrough on the platform? Oh, wait. Games, songs, tutorials, mukbangs, stories... Same sources different material. 80% of content would be considered "non transformative" if applied as here.

So YouTube got back to be and have decided to keep my channel demonetized. Thanks for the speedy middle finger guys!

@Southern_Canni I think the simplest approach is what several horror podcasts do, issue a blanket statement like "this is horror & there will be disturbing topics, specific trigger warnings are in the description." Ppl who use them will check. Less commentary, spoilers etc for others.

@itskrisstar I'm so sorry. I've lost keepsakes from son, grandparents, sis, dad & literally lost mom, ½ of her ashes. I know it hurts. It's nice to have something to hold on to but remember what's most important is always in ur ❤️& can't be lost. Wishing u & ur family strength & peace.

Even if a story's been done he makes it new @YouTubeCreators @YouTubeLiaison @YouTube should know this needs to be fixed & happens too much - it affects other channels & a huge audience also

So not only have they refused to reinstate my monetization, I'll have to wait A MONTH until I can try again. Forget the fact I arguably create something NEW with the source material. But I guess @TeamYouTube is blind to that I guess.

@NaturesTemper @The_Best_Quark I have a feeling someone very vocal abt their disapproval of a story based on irl events pointed them in the direction. Idk but the reason @TeamYouTube gave would be laughable if the effect weren't so serious. I hope they fix this asap!

@ctfdn_official I can't even imagine. I ran into a bunch of comments on another horror channel that were milder but I'm afraid all have to do w/ the same ideology. It's toxic & spreading. You could also try tagging law enforcement pages here & on FB. Stay safe 💓
