I don’t understand why some fighters continue to do this. There’s just no upside. Everybody who follows the sport knows how the process works. The gloves and wraps are checked multiple times by the teams and the commission. What he’s implying is that either his team was incompetent or in on it, or that the commission was. And just like in the Wilder situation, no evidence has ever been presented to support his claims or insinuations. So every time someone gets knocked out, are we supposed to just say the other guy’s gloves were loaded and suddenly the knockout is no longer credible? I don’t think so.
