Class 4A regional softball: Sergeant Bluff-Luton 4, Le Mars 2 A 31-win season for the Bulldogs comes to an end. Several team and individual records were broken this year, with many by a talented group of seniors who played their final game.

Final: #14 Sergeant Bluff-Luton 4 @LeMarsSoftball 2 The Warriors score three runs late and eliminate the Bulldogs in the region semifinal round. Le Mars' great season ends with a record of 31-10, and they will graduate five seniors off this team.

After tonights round 1 win against Carroll, Natalie Vanderloo has tied the single season steals record with 23. She shares this title with Alyssa Louison (2006) & Molly Reuter (2005).

Final/5: @LeMarsSoftball 9 Carroll 1 The Tigers get a two-out hit thrown out at second to end the inning trying to steal during the next AB. The Dogs then score five runs in the bottom of the inning to win the game early. They will take on SB-L on Saturday night.
