The DWP strategy of 'encouraging' disabled people into work seems to be to suggest to us that everything would be fine if we all just tried doing all the jobs that they know we can't do that don't exist anyway. Seriously, I will keep repeating that there aren't even in of vacancies for all the currently unemployed nondisabled people who are available for work to get a job. I remember Sunak said something about this when he was still prime minister, something like 'it can't be right that there are more people than job vacancies, and that shows that our welfare system is broken'. In reality it's not benefit claimants that are the problem, it's the fact that our entire economic model doesn't actually work for ordinary people in this country. But of course, you'll never hear a politician in any position of authority argue that this country is structurally fucked! Let me tell you, it is.

This is incredibly sad. At first I was sympathetic then I read they had to be propped/positioned by caretakers to have sex....and she couldn't carry the baby to term due to risk of losing her own life. Now Im like "WTF?!" They chose to create a child that will suffer for life? A child they can't care for themselves? That's low key selfish, but the medical professionals who allowed this were highly negligent. Every child is a blessing, I guess.

@RiderCharlatan @got_cake Not deserves but you have to take quality of baby life and your ability to look after it into consideration. I got told 80% chance if had another pregnancy, child would be disabled and i would be wheelchair bound so we stuck to the 1 child we had .

I remember, in the very beginning, when she kept making gauche mistakes like this, I put it down to her being American, being nervous, being new to the game... BUT, NOW, with years more evidence before our eyes, I believe all the things she did 'by accident' were carefully orchestrated to show the queen and everyone else in that environment that SHE would set her own rules. SHE would do things the way SHE wants. SHE would MODERNIZE a 1000 year old monarchy. She NEVER had any intentions of staying in that family.

As expected I arrived at the GP & she said ‘what can I do for you?’. I said it’s all there in the summary on your system. The surgery asked me to make the appointment. She read the summary out loud, pressed the relevant buttons to make the referrals & there endeth my appt.
