Massively disappointed with @Qantas staff today forcing us to disclose our sons disability at check in so they ‘have a reason to help us’. All we asked for was priority boarding to settle him and acknowledgement of mobility needs. Irrelevant to the staff as he was carried.

Additionally there are lots of other reasons for students being part time including disability, immigration status, carer responsibilities. We are all still genuine.

@AIGAustralia I’m concerned by the wording of ‘full time genuine students only’ as a pre-requisite for student registration for the Kal Symposium. Many of us are default parents and unable to study full time. You’re excluding a whole demographic with careless wording.

I do this for free because Earth Science education is a massive passion of mine and many of of schools have kids that NEVER get a chance to go to a metro area and visit a museum. I’m able to bring tangible, hands on activities too them 2/

@anna_chica Partner came home and immediately ordered me a new set, with rainbows 😅 fingers crossed that works. I’ve put my spare mouse in for now so I can at least click and drag. I wanted a break from picking microfossils 😅

@LeahM_Foster ARGH. Yes sounds like you deserve it! My USB mouse gave up the ghost recently AND another mouse and keyboard... so annoying.

My keyboard has stopped working. My mouse is temperamental. I have 40 logs to draw in InkScape. I’m so done. And it’s 9:25am.

Like I am sure most people that pick sediment, I have quite a collection of ‘oh look at that’ photographs. Today’s offering. A jelly baby 😅 it’s better than the lack of forams I’m not currently extracting.
