HE WON THE NOBEL PRIZE TWICE. THEN HE SAID VITAMIN C CURES CANCER. THEY DESTROYED HIS REPUTATION OVERNIGHT. Dr. Linus Pauling is the only person in history to win two unshared Nobel Prizes. The first in Chemistry. The second the Nobel Peace Prize. He is considered one of the most brilliant scientists who ever lived. He founded molecular biology. He mapped the structure of proteins. He changed the course of modern science. Then in 1970, he published a book claiming that high-dose vitamin C could prevent and treat cancer. The medical establishment turned on him within weeks. The same institutions that had celebrated him for decades called him a quack. The American Medical Association publicly ridiculed him. Journals that had published his work for 40 years refused to print his research. Funding was cut. Colleagues distanced themselves. The media ran headlines calling him senile. He was 69 years old. He had two Nobel Prizes. And they erased him from credibility because he threatened a trillion-dollar industry with a vitamin that costs pennies. Pauling's research showed that intravenous vitamin C in doses of 10 grams or more per day could selectively kill cancer cells while leaving healthy cells untouched. He published clinical trials with Dr. Ewan Cameron showing that terminal cancer patients given high-dose vitamin C lived on average four times longer than those on conventional treatment. The Mayo Clinic ran two studies claiming to "debunk" him. But they used oral vitamin C instead of intravenous. Oral doses cannot achieve the blood plasma concentrations needed to kill cancer cells. They knew this. They designed the studies to fail. Then they published the results as proof that Pauling was wrong. In 2005, the National Institutes of Health finally confirmed what Pauling said 35 years earlier. High-dose intravenous vitamin C is selectively toxic to cancer cells. Published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. They proved him right. After he was dead. After they had already destroyed his name. A two-time Nobel laureate told the world that a natural molecule could fight cancer. They buried him for it. Then they quietly confirmed his work when no one was paying attention. The cure was never the problem. The price was. Source: 🔗 M-B Technology

The President of the United States is an utterly deranged imbecile. Full stop. He posts this while oil prices skyrocket because of his reckless lunacy.

@Kiki5794 On a completely separate point. If you yanks call petrol gas, what do you call actual gas? As in the gas for cooking or to heat radiators in your house?

🚨 NEW: Labour MPs are reportedly "falling in line" and will vote against referring Keir Starmer to the Privileges Committee after a "successful" call-round operation

Keir Starmer's little secrets. 3 Ukrainian young men, all know to have worked as "Male Models" all accused of trying to burn his homes and property. Their trial has begun today, but there is a Super injunction in the British media preventing any reporting on the case. Why?

@MarkJLittlewood Planted by the civil service to nod in agreement. It's a form of body language to encourage acceptance, of what is being said, by the viewer

I love that there is a bloke just over Olly Robbins’ left shoulder who has the singular role of nodding earnestly whenever Olly Robbins makes a poignant remark 👇

@SophyRidgeSky Wrong! Starmer advised to wait for vetting before appointment, but didn't so did NOT follow due process. Starmer told Parliament he had followed due process so only his exact wording determines whether he lied or misled Parliament. Both a resignation offence

Key line of Sir Olly Robbins letter to Ctte: "When the PM informed the house that the proper process had been followed in respect of National Security Vetting, he was correct" In other words: He followed process & didn't do anything wrong. PM knows that too.

Starmer’s decision to sack Olly Robbins is like a confused referee wading into a 21-man brawl, then sending off the one guy acting as peacemaker.

@LeeHarris Not wanted. ACTUALLY DID SO. FO also advised Starmer to wait for vetting but ignored it. So by not waiting Starmer did not follow due process. In Parliament he said the appointment was made following due process. The exact wording will determine whether he lied or misled

Keir Starmer said MULTIPLE TIMES that if he'd known Mandelson had failed vetting he would NEVER have appointed him. Olly Robbins just confirmed that No.10 wanted to appoint him without vetting. Keir Starmer lied, again. He misled the house, again. HE HAS GOT TO GO!

Starmer said if he'd known that Mandelson had failed vetting, he wouldn't have appointed him. But Starmer appointed Mandelson before he knew the vetting so this whole farce is because Starmer didn't follow advised process. He lied in Parliament that he had followed due process

Starmer had made out that Olly Robbins was incompetent and sacked him accordingly. Whatever you think about this whole farce, Olly Starmer seems highly competent and at the very least, deserves reinstating

WTF is @AlexBallingerMP doing on a panel questioning Olly Robin's? He's corrupt and currently taking money, likely indirectly, from Derek Webb to influence gambling reform

@garethicke As someone who used to trade markets, this has ALWAYS happened. If you look at a chart before an event, you'll often see a spike in the direction the market will go upon event actually happening. Someone, somewhere always knows something
