Catastrophe

One of the earliest copies of the Rosetta stone, made at the Isntitut d'Egypte, founded by Napoleon in Cairo. Soon after its discovery in the fort of Qaytbay, it was moved to Cairo to be studied by the French savants. This might be one of the copies used by Champollion.

@CressidaRyan I've found that relationship differs much between different people.

Trying to work on how to build an understanding on the relationship between thought and language, and what happens to that in the process of translation, and how 'meaning' is derived in that process.

Considering a task where I ask students to imagine a bed, describe it to someone else, who has to draw it, and then the imaginer comments on how well it represents their thoughts. Add in pass the drawing to someone else and ask them to describe it, then add that to the mix.

You shouldn't have to be rich or educated to be comfortable. That is a human right we are all born with.
