🚨 News out of Panama – thanks to grantee @LeatherbackProj, @CAVeelenturf and other dedicated conservationists, the Saboga National #Wildlife Refuge has been established in the Pearl Islands Archipelago, safeguarding #seaturtle populations and strengthening #biodiversity. 🌊🐢

Hoy celebramos una gran noticia para nuestro país: Hemos creado el Refugio de Vida Silvestre Saboga, en el Golfo de Panamá. 🌊🌿 Con esta nueva área marina protegida, estamos dando un paso enorme para cuidar nuestra biodiversidad, proteger nuestros arrecifes de coral 🪸 y promover la investigación científica que tanto necesitamos en Panamá. 🇵🇦 Este es un hogar para especies como tortugas marinas, tiburones ballena, ballenas, el pájaro de patas azules y muchas más.
