There's been a lot of rain in the last few days, filling the lake and flooding the park in several places. The course is wet but just passable. The overnight temperatures are forecast to stay above 0 deg C. A course safety inspection and decision will be made at 0730.

Today's Leazes parkrun #35 results have now been processed. 276 Finishers, 188 First Timers, 12 new PBs. Nice to welcome so many visitors. Good luck to all those here this weekend to do the Great North Run. A big thank you to today's 30 Volunteers.

Reminder - Event Cancellation Due to conflicting events taking place in the park, Leazes parkrun is cancelled for the next 2 weeks. There will be no event on Saturday 21 and 28 August. We resume on 5th September. Enjoy some tourism !

Leazes Event #32 Attendance Total - 86 (100%); Regulars (Green, Red & Black) - 32 (37%); 2nd, 3rd & 4th timers - 24 (28%); First-timers - 27 (31%); Unknowns - 3 (4%). Milestones New today - 9 (5 Red & 4 Black). Unique Attendees - 2,237 since inauguration. Regulars - 175.

Leazes parkrun will resume tomorrow Saturday 24 July 2021. The event starts at 0900, after the first-timers and mandatory briefings at 0840."
