This is actually a phenomenal point. Martelli Jr is younger but he has ~20 years of experience as an assistant, basically the same amount of HC experience as Wade/the other guys, and was a VCU assistant. He pretty perfectly fits the VCU archetype sans Odom.

@BelkReport Don't disagree with you all very good points. Just one thing to keep in mind with VCU, Odom was more an exception than rule though. Capel, Grant, and Shaka all had 0 head coaching experience before taking over at VCU. Wade had 2 years at Chattanooga, and Rhoades 3 at Rice

Fans talking trash is common and expected. What’s not normal or expected is for staff members of opposing schools seemingly threatening our head coach under a recruits instagram post. VCU is a complete joke from the fans all the way up to this jackass
