@HeroicMrT Joined up helps with speed and makes handwriting easier and more fluent with less strain on the wrist. It should def not be taught with entry strokes which are unnecessary and which make it harder to write fast.

What are the benefits of joined up handwriting? So many Year 6s complaining they hate English lessons because of this obsession.
