I've had a few quid on MEATLOAF @ 10/11 in the 12.40 2m Novice Hurdle at Wincanton. A son of the brilliant Doctor Dino who was purchased from the Arqana Sales for €97,000. He had four runs in bumpers last season showing a good level of form including winning twice at Wincanton (right handed) and finishing second in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham. I've liked everything I've seen from this young horse so far including his attitude as he was still green on his last start at Wincanton under 7lb claimer Olive Nicholls. He posses an engine, handles soft ground, clearly likes Wincanton and will have been brilliantly schooled for his hurdles debut as all of Nicholls horses are. He beat CLASSIC KING on his last start who went on to win by 10L on his hurdles debut at Wincanton a few weeks ago for Emma Lavelle which is a solid bit of form (that bumper could be quite tasty in time). His Listed second at Cheltenham was solid, turnt into the straight in front, collared in the last 100 yards with Dancing In Brazil 3L back in third who re opposes today. Paul has farmed this race in the last decade with 7 winners in the last 9 years which boads well. Conclusion: All in all, I'm willing to have a punt he can make a winning debut over sticks in a very winnable race given his clear potential and the fact Paul targets this race every year. He could turn out to be a nice prospect in time... 🏇

4-0 win this morning away to Heaton Meadowfield. Bare 11, keeper injured in the first half so down to ten but the work rate from the lads was absolutely unbelievable to come away with a comfortable result.
